I`m not asking you to become a Buddhist monk (even if there s a picture of one in the article) but you should really give it a try.
Meditating doesn’t have to be about staying in the right position or having perfect silence around you, it is about turning your mind volume lower a few minutes every day, this helps you remain calm during the events we are all facing right now.
There are plenty of guided meditation videos on the internet but I will leave here some that really helped me through bad times:
- https://www.youtube.com/user/MichaelSealey This guy did wonders with my anxiety, I didn’t get hypnotized, but it calms me down when nothing else manages to do that.
- https://www.youtube.com/user/jbittersweet Jbittersweet has a 30-day meditation challenge that can help you learn how to meditate. I like her funny voice but if it doesn’t work for you there are other similar channels on youtube.
- https://www.calm.com/ Calm is rated as one of the best apps for helping you release your anxiety and get better sleep.
